AAMCO saved my car form the scrapyard. It would truly have wound there as I never could have paid without their kind assistance. My major concern has been trying to find a mechanic I could rely on to care for my car. I am glad to have found the folks at AAMCO on Harford rd.
Great Service The dreaded "check engine" light came on so I went to my local garage. They wanted $90 to hook up "the computer" to find out what was wrong. That sounded out of line to me so I took advantage of Aamco's offer to do the computer check FOR FREE! It took no more than 5 minutes and they offered to give me the results to take to any shop that I wished. After having saved me $90 I trusted them to treat me fairly so I had them do the work. It was accomplished in less than 2 hours. The are now my first choice for future auto repairs. They greeted me warmly and had a decent area for customers who wished to wait. What can't they all be that good!

1st review response "personal property" we did transmission work on customers pt cruiser. we do not have a theft problem at our shop and we clearly have signs up at our front counter that states do not leave any valuables in vehicle and that we are not responsible for theft or damage. the customer came in to pay and while here he met the mechanic who has several tattoos and clearly pre judged him , he then walked out to his car and a few minutes later came back and claimed he had a RARE ANTIQUE SWORD that was left in his car that was missing . I'm a little surprised that someone would leave such a valuable item in there car and also surprised that he didn't have gold bricks missing as well.

I Called to get an estimate for service. The actual cost was only $10 above the price they quoted me without even seeing my car and unlike other auto service places that I have been to, they did not question what I said needed to get fixed on my car and just fixed it. The service was great and the people were nice and courteous. My only problem is that they did not call me when my car was finished. They fixed it by then end of the day like they stated, even though there were a lot of cars there when I left my car with them. Service was great and efficient and I would go there again because the price was cheaper than precision tune that has good service also and much better than pep boys who I would not trust my worst enemy's car with.
I went into AAMCO for a check engine light that Carrie diagnosed. After the diagnoses they proceeded to tell me what had to be done and how they would do it. There were no surprises and what they priced me at is what I paid. They were very understanding of my current money situation and did everything in their power to help me work out the situation. Mark was amazingly smart and as a problem erupted he instantly called and kept me up to date. My car is running fantastically now and I don't have to worry about my transmission falling out anymore. It runs better then the day I got it. Thank you for the amazing customer service and repairs. I couldn't be more happy. I'll be in touch in the future.
This week I was told by the Heritage Chrysler Jeep dealership that my 2003 Chrysler Sebring needed to have $2700.00 worth of work done. My heart sank. So I called around to see if I could find a better price and AAMCO was the last place I called. I was very lucky to speak to Mark S., the manager. He assured me that AAMCO could do the work and for much less than the dealership. Plus, they could do it it the next day. Mark arranged for George to take me home and pick me up after the job was done. George was a great guy and when I picked the car up, the bill was way less than $2700.00, I mean way less. Mark made my day. He is very pleasant, efficient, and likeable. I will have all future work done there and will also tell my friends, neighbors and family about the super service at AAMCO on Harford Rd. Please keep that team, they are great.
